MIKTA Senior Officials’ Meeting (Videoconference, 10 June 2020)

The five MIKTA countries held a Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM) in the form of a video conference at 04:00 (UTC), June 10, and discussed their responses to COVID-19 and ways for the five MIKTA countries to work together.

Officials shared the view that collaboration among countries is all the more important amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and agreed to continue close collaboration among the MIKTA members not only in responding to the current health crisis, but also in other various areas, including easing the extensive economic and social impact and supporting vulnerable countries.
