Workshop on Women in Global Value Chains
MIKTA in cooperation with the WTO and the International Trade Centre (ITC) convened the Workshop on Women in Global Va
lue Chains at the WTO on the October 1 2018.
The Workshop discussed the gender dimension of global value chains (GVCs) and explored how trade policies, trade measures and technical assistance can help enhance women’s participation in GVCs. It also showcased different perspectives from actors in GVCs, best practices and experiences of WTO Members.
