MIKTA side event on “Prevention of Narcotic Drug Abuse in MIKTA Countries” (17 March 2017, Vienna)

MIKTA side event on “Prevention of Narcotic Drug Abuse in MIKTA Countries” was held on 17 March 2017 in Vienna, in the margins of the 60th Commission on Narcotic Drugs.

The Heads of Permanent Missions of Mexico, Indonesia, Korea, Turkey and Australia provided overviews on their national experiences in developing effective prevention measures of narcotic drug abuse within family, school or work environments. The meeting has been moderated by Mr Aldo Lale-Demoz, Director of Division for Operations in the UNODC.
